Sometime back I posted the inquiry, "Does anyone have a list of all
the Capitol Blues A-Rolls," and I got no response.  So I am putting
together that list and will make it available to MMD.  I need
assistance verifying the information.  I have some roll numbers without
titles and some with only the first tune title.  I would appreciate
issue dates where known.

This list has been compiled primarily from recuts and offers for
recuts.  I have included a list of the info to date.  I have indicated
where I have actually listened to the roll and determined they are
primarily Blythe and Johnson performances.

I am also looking for MIDI files of these rolls as that makes
evaluation easier.  If you have a recut or an original of any of these
please let me know.  I presently have recuts of 22 of these rolls and
MIDI files for about 13.

In addition, I am currently writing an article on Southside Chicago
piano featuring Jimmy Blythe, Clarence Johnson and Lem Fowler.  This
project includes sheet music covers, photos and other relevant
material.  This project will probably include a CD of Jimmy Blythe
A-rolls where dynamics have been added.
