Modern Duo/Art Player Won't Play Duo-Art Rolls
By Skip Klosz

If this is the spinet type piano, with the center music rack roll
player location, I have one of these. I was mislead also.

The owner is correct in that it does not play the 1930-style "Duo-Art"
rolls. The expression holes on the rolls will trip the auto rewind
on the 1970s piano, which is lacking the four expression holes on the
tracker bar.

I believe the name "Duo/Art" referred to the ability to either use
electric vacuum or foot pedals. I can email pictures of mine if you
need to compare.
