Large Organ Collection in Norwalk, Connecticut
By William Edgerton

Charles Davis asked in a recent post for information about large
organs. We have an 89-key Gavioli, a 92-key Decap, a 43-keyless
Bruder, a 52-key Limonaire, and a 52-key Gasparini, all with large
music libraries and all in superb playing condition except the
Gasparini which is still being worked on.

We also have a 61-key Dufner orchestrion from the 1870's, with
nine spirally-pinned barrels, in beautiful playing condition. This
instrument was the subject of a cover article in the January, 2012,
issue of the MBSI Journal. There are other smaller instruments as
well.

We are happy to share these instruments, so MMD-readers and all
folks interested in mechanical music are welcome to visit to see and
hear them. We are one hour northeast of New York City in Norwalk,
Connecticut, and trains run hourly from New York's Grand Central
Station. We can meet you at the train. Please give us a few days
notice of your visit, if you can.
