Seek Photos for Encyclopedia of Disc Music Boxes
By Dave Bowers

I am putting the finishing touches on the new book, "The Encyclopedia
of Disc Music Boxes," to be published by AMICA. Terry Smythe, editor
at AMICA, is underway in formatting chapters. He will be providing
information about the book including, in time, a pre-publication offer.

I am seeking original catalog illustrations that I lack. Where these
are not available, modern color photographs, 400 dpi or higher of the
instruments, cases open and closed, are solicited. Please state the
diameter of the disc, whether single or duplex (or multiple) combs,
and the number of teeth. Credit will be given to all who help. I can
be reached by letter or e-mail at the address given below.

- B.H. Abrahams Co., Britannia, Imperial, and Abrahams music boxes,
  Britannia, Imperial, and Alexandra makes.

- American Music Box Company. Need any and all illustrations,
advertisements, tune lists, etc., for the Triumph brand. I have
hardly anything visual at this point.

- Arno Musical Box Co. Boston, 19th century. Used paper rolls (!).
  Need anything at all.

illustrations of most models (over 1,350 so far) but I can use
information about special or very rare models.
