Seek Tuning Scale of Symphonion Musical Box
By Juan Alonso

Hello, everybody; As I told you in 130812 MMDigest, I'm working with
several perforated disc formats, extracting MIDI data from a photograph.
I'm getting great results. With a colleague, we have written a couple
posts (in Spanish). You can find them at

http://blog.tecnilogica.com/2013/04/04/formatos-obsoletos-1-introduccion/
and
http://blog.tecnilogica.com/2013/05/13/formatos-obsoletos-2-primeras-pruebas/

The first post includes a video of the digitizing app in action. It is
written in Processing and is able to generate a couple of images and
MIDI data from a photograph of the disc.

The second post is a more technical description of the process, and
includes some MP3 audio (the audio quality has been greatly improved in the
current version):

Currently, the app can extract the music from Ariosa, Ariston and
Herophone discs. We want to digitize some Symphonion discs, but we are
unable to find the tuning anywhere. We searched the MMD Archives and
used Google, to no avail. Can you point us in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
