Seek Philipps Jazzband Reiterating Action Photos
By Art Reblitz

We currently have two different Philipps Jazzband keyboard-style
orchestrions in the shop. They use late style P.M. Jazzband rolls
numbered over 10,000, which are somewhat different from standard
P.M. rolls.

The later Jazzband has a reiterating orchestra bell action that uses
slide valves to control the reiteration. The earlier one had some
type of pallet valve connected to an extension of each pneumatic for
reiteration. Parts of that one are missing.

Can anyone supply pictures of this early Jazzband reiterating
mechanism? It's completely different from the bell actions in any of
the earlier keyboardless PianOrchestras described in the Mechanical
Music Press web site, since they all had single-stroke bell actions.
