Instruments at Auto Museum in Wells, Maine
By T. J. Fisher

I would be glad to hear from anyone with information about the
several coin pianos and band organ most recently exhibited at the Wells
Auto Museum in Wells, Maine. I understand that, after a protracted
struggle to remain open, the museum folded in the second half of 2013,
but I have been unable to learn anything more. I called a gentleman
associated with the museum whose number was printed in an article about
the closure but received no reply from him or from the museum's email
as listed on their web site.

I believe I read, in an article since taken offline, that the
museum's cars were to be sold individually, but it made no mention
of the instruments or arcade games also exhibited at the museum, which
I suppose might or might not have been owned by the same people.

This large collection of machines was instrumental in developing my
interest in the hobby, and I would very much like to know how the
instruments were disposed of even if none were available for sale.
If they were on offer, I would be interested to know where. Thanks
much!
