Seek Ampico "Gnossienne #1" & "Fingal's Cave"
By Mike Walter

Hi all, I have been searching for two Ampico rolls for a while and am
wondering if they might be sitting on someone's shelf collecting dust.
The first roll is an earlier Ampico roll "Gnossienne #1" by Eric Satie,
played by Copeland 57323.

The second is a Duo-Art transcription to the Ampico. It is "Fingal's
Cave Overture", by Mendelssohn. I believe that it was converted to
Ampico in the 1970s, perhaps by Frank Adams.

I am looking for both copies and if anyone has one, or both, please
contact me.

Thanks very much!

Mike Walter
