Passing of Robert "Bob" Streicher, Machinist
By Lester Wolff

I had a very long (60 year) friendship with Bob. He was a gawky blond
kid from Brooklyn who developed into an incredible asset and factor in
the restoration of mechanical music instruments.

We spoke often on the phone; he had a wonderful, wry sense of humor.
He was a gentle man and always a gentleman. He suffered the indignities
of poor health, and in spite of it, continued to be of service to all
who contacted him. May he rest in peace.
