Strange Player Action in Broadwood Grand Piano
 By Tony Marsico

 | Hi all, I should give up perusing eBay for pianos that I can't afford
anymore and that I have no room for but I like to see what's out there.
There is a Broadwood piano on eBay with an action that might be a
Hupfeld reproducing piano. I have a 6' Hupfeld Triphonola and the
pneumatics on the right in one of the pictures look vaguely like that.
It looks very well built. Could be a Hupfeld DEA? Here is the link:

Unfortunately there isn't a close-up of the tracker bar since that
assembly is outside of the piano. It went above the keys.
I'm still wanting to sell a 5'8" Weber, a J&C Fischer Ampico, and two
built up orchestrions. When I get that Price and Teeple done with the
Link style xylophone and valve chest worked over, playing an "O" roll,
it's going to be a lot more expensive -- just saying.
