Xylophone Scale to Play Style "4X" & "G" Rolls
By Gordon Ramsey

I am drawing up plans for a machine to play Style '4X' (and possibly
'G') music rolls and would like to know how many notes the xylophone
should have. I'm guessing that it is somewhere between 24 and 36.
I have looked at a lot of old pictures, but there seems to be no magic
number. I want to get the best musical results. Any suggestions?
