Quantity of Reproducing Roll Titles
By Mike Walter

Hi all, Here's a topic that might give many a cause to scratch their
collective heads. How many roll titles were produced by Ampico and
also by Duo-Art?

To make this even more interesting, how many classical and popular
rolls did each company make? It has been said that Duo-Art made better
classical rolls and Ampico made better popular rolls. Having a larger
Ampico collection, I would beg to differ. But I am open to a discussion
on this topic. Thanks for your input.

Best wishes,
Mike Walter

[ 'Tis also said that all the Ampico and Duo-Art titles combined
[ are still less than the approximately 4,000 titles produced for
 [ the Welte-Mignon player system! ;-) -- Robbie
