Guinness Collection Features "On-demand" Music
By Robbie Rhodes

WMBC-TV, an independent TV station in Newton, New Jersey, serving
the New York City and New Jersey area, broadcast a news segment
last weekend about the Murtogh D. Guinness Collection displayed at
the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey:

Conservator Jere Ryder says about the holdings, "The mechanical
music instruments and automata in this collection really represent
the very first examples of 'on-demand' music."
