Unknown Tapered Pin Made by Bob Streicher
By Dale F. Rowe

Dear John, Greetings from The Bronx. In regards to the tapered
pin, it looks like an accessory for a spring loaded center-punch.
Bob Streicher offered spring-loaded music roll punches which could
be ordered in various hole dimensions. You could get tips for the
center-punch device for a nine-to-the-inch standard hole, one for
the slightly larger Ampico hole, and the much larger six-to-the-inch
65-note hole. The tapered pin in the photo is the standard
center-punch pin that came with the spring-loaded device.
Hope this helps,

Respectfully,
D.F. Rowe
Bronx, New York
