"Longings for Home" 6-tune Operatic Cylinder Box
By Jérôme Collomb

I can provide details about following title as given by Karl Petersen
in the 15.11.25 MMD:

"6. Waltz, La grande duchesse de Gerolstein?, Jacques Offenbach?
-1867. Perhaps this has a yearning for home too, but I haven't
found the libretto to review. Anyone?"

I confirm this is taken from the opera-bouffe La Grande-duchesse de
Gerolstein (1867) by Offenbach. This is not a waltz, but a fragment of
a duet in Act I: no. 2L Duo de Fritz et Wanda (the movement is the aria
of Wanda)

You can hear the complete duet here (the fragment is starting at 44
sec.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdluFpNqJns
