Simplex Automatic Roll Tracking Mechanism
By Gilles Chouinard

First, to all readers of MMD I wish a very Happy New Year! David
Dewey just said about chasing of Simplex alignment action: "I like
using a multi-strand fishing line -- it doesn't stretch and it is
very flexible."

I agree that is a very good replacement but I still use the old radio
dial multi-strand cord that was in use in many old and many more modern
radio sets. It is available from a lot of electronic components
suppliers and if lucky you can get a large 500-yards spool from Army
surplus stores like I did 12 years ago!

Wishing you the best for 2016!
