Passing of Tom Wurdeman, Instrument Restorer
By Tracy Tolzmann

Dear friends, It is with a very heavy heart that I must announce that
a giant in our automatic music universe, Tom Wurdeman, has passed away
at the age of 86. After a struggle of several weeks, Tom succumbed to
a blood infection at about 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2016, at Fairview
Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota. A visitation is set for 4:00
to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at the Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel,
6527 Portland Avenue South, Richfield, Minnesota (tel.: 1-612-869-3226).

The funeral home's website did not have the full obituary published
as I write this message. The URL is
http://www.morrisnilsen.com/obituary/tom-wurdeman/

Tom's funeral will be held at 11:00 am Friday, the 11th, at Redemption
Lutheran Church, 927 East Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington (telephone:
1-952-881-0035). Cards of condolence may be sent to Tom's eldest son,
Mark Wurdeman, at 28980 Palm Street, Isanti, MN 55040.

Tom is survived by his children, Mark, Linda, and Scott and their
spouses, several granddaughters (and there may be some great-grandkids,
too!), many nieces and nephews and other relatives, and countless
friends and acquaintances in the automatic music world!

I know you all join me in offering a prayer for our dear friend Tom.
May he rest in peace.

Tracy Tolzmann - MBSI Snowbelt Chapter Chair
