Average Time to Rebuild a Player Piano
By John Grant

The discussions of rebuilding times made me think I should share my own
practice: I guarantee to deliver the finished instrument by Christmas.
I'm just careful not to specify what year.

I'm also reminded that player rebuilding, like many activities, come
in three flavors: good, fast and cheap. Pick any two. If you want a
good job that's also fast, it won't be cheap; if you want a good job
that's also cheap, it won't be fast; and if you want a fast job that's
also cheap, it won't be good.
