Wurlitzer Band Organ Pipe Scales by Doyle Lane

In response to the news [160523 MMDigest] that this book was scanned
and posted on-line, I have a copy of that book that I purchased from
Doyle Lane and it certainly says it was copyrighted in 1981. Does
the copyright expire because Doyle has passed away?

[ to the author's estate, who may grant license to publish unless
