Early Duo-Art Roll Tracking Problem
By D. L. Bullock

Clearly your tracker system is not regulated correctly.

1. Set the roll so that it is most perfectly lining up with the tracker
bar holes at both ends.

2. Adjust the tracker pneumatic so that it is centered in its travel
and when it is centered in its travel the holes all line up as in #1.

3. Loosen the screws on the tracking ears and swing them away from the
edge of the paper The screw with the spring washer on it must be more
tight as it is the pivot. The other screw with no washer does the
adjustment.

4. Gently move one tracking ear so that it barely touches the edge of
the paper.

5. Make sure that the ear touches the paper but does not press on it.
Also at the same time make sure the attached valve is closed. If you
have to, disconnect the tube to suck on it to make sure it is sealed,
then do that.

6. Tighten both screws on that ear.

7. Now do the same to the other edge of the roll and the other tracker
ear.

You should now have a tracker that does nothing in normal play but when
the roll moves over even a hair the tracker pneumatic pulls it back by
a hair. The roll should not jerk from side to side and it should not
move so much that it wrinkles the paper.
