Dispersing Randolph Herr Collection
By Don Teach

Where were you people when the Steinway DR was for sale in the US?

Here's the guy that bought it and sold it in Poland. If you
have any questions about this piano you can contact him by phone
1-267-269-1922 or browse his web site: https://www.opus-piano.com/

I tried to reach out and save it even after this guy had bought the
piano; it was worth more as a non-player to him. And how many times
do I have to point out to a bunch of cheap collectors that even in
today's market these old Steinways and Mason & Hamlins are worth more
as non-players!

I see Steinway AR models being gutted, being restored and cut down
into Model A Steinways. The Model A-3 Steinway is a very desirable
piano as a straight [non-player] piano.
