Automatic Music On YouTube
By Bob Loesch

Ref. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwh_acqT6J0

Interesting, but why do people insist on playing ragtime too fast,
and on badly out-of-tune pianos?

Most of the instruments shown repeated simple patterns, not real
music by any means, except the accordion, the player piano, and the
orchestra bells playing Rimsky-Korsakov.

While the control and electronics were innovative, the instruments
themselves did nothing that was not done before, either by a player
piano, orchestrion, or theatre organ!
