Three More New Wurlitzer 165 Band Organ Rolls
By Andrew Lardieri

Hi everyone, and may I first say "Happy New Year" to one and all.
Glenn Thomas has recently released three new band organ rolls for
the Wurlitzer Style 165 scale numbered 6885, 6886, and 6887.

Two of them (6885 and 6886) have been graciously arranged by our
best arranger yet, Andy Park, where one contains several tunes from
the Great Depression era which were featured and sung by Fred Astaire
and Ginger Rogers in many of their films, while the other roll contains
many popular tunes made famous by the 1970-80s Swedish rock band ABBA
which have been arranged in the style of Wurlitzer arrangements.

The final roll 6887 is the third volume of Lost Wurlitzer Tunes of
the 65xx series of rolls arranged by Rich Olsen. Furthermore this
year, I'll be working once again with Glenn Thomas and Andy Park on
the commission and production of my second roll following my first roll
(6880) which is going to feature two popular TV show themes from the
1960's as well as many other great tunes like "Does The Spearmint Lose
Its Flavor", and "New York, New York".
