Blackpool Imhof & Mukle Orchestrion
By Paul Walsh

Many times during the mid-1970s I would visit the old Birmingham Museum

of Science & Industry and hear the Blackpool Orchestrion play. I was

just searching to see if any on-line recordings were available when I

came across a posting from April 2, 2006, by Paul Camps where he laments

not having made a recording.

I do seem to recall a vinyl LP being available from the museum at the

time. I believe the title was "Orchestrion Sounds," possibly on the EMI

label, although I can't be sure. Perhaps someone can confirm or even

elaborate.
