Hi Terry, Sorry for the delay in responding to your MMD posting
on 1/20/2019. If you haven't already resolved your music box winding
and locking key problems I should be able to assist you.

However, I'll need to know what size MAPSA mechanism you have and what
the music box and lock look like. Please send me some photos of your
box and the lock hole opening so I can determine which locking key you
are likely to need to open the box.

I have two different all purpose keys and many others for specialty
locks. Please see on eBay at:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/153310689025
https://www.ebay.com/itm/153310679660

You need not order on eBay; we can handle the transaction directly for
both the winding key and the locking key at the same time. (Please
see my contact information below.)

I suspect the MAPSA mechanism is probably an 18-note, with 18 fingers
on the musical comb. However, you won't likely be able to access that
if the music box is locked shut.

That being said, perhaps you can measure the diameter of the threaded
winding key stem that is protruding from the bottom of the box. If my
speculation is correct, that diameter will be 3.2 mm. Then I'll need
to know the distance from the base of the winding key stem (where it
goes up into the base plate of the musical mechanism), down to the
surface/table top below.

Then I can supply you with a key that will be long enough to clear the
bottom of the music box, but not too long as to rub on the table below.

Most sincerely,
