Band Organ at Ocean City, Maryland
By Dan Robinson

David Burgess asked in MMD 190420 about the band organ at Trimper's
Rides and Amusements in Ocean City, Maryland. It is indeed one of
those built by Bill Kromer of Wayne, Pennsylvania, who passed away
in 2016 at age 88. Let's hope that the work needed for the organ
to be playable again is at least in the park's long-term plans.

Visible in the photo that David attached, at far left and directly
above the bass drum, are the façade wings from the park's long-sold
1926 Artizan Style C-2 band organ (serial no. 480). That organ, now
restored, was owned by Max Huff of Houston, Texas, who passed away
early last year at age 87. I'm not sure if the organ has been sold
or if his family is keeping it.

Max posted many videos on YouTube of the Artizan C-2 band organ
playing vintage arrangements and modern ones:
