Player Piano On Train
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Paul Collenette asked player pianos on trains. The
Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar California, contains a Canadian
Pacific locomotive with Clara Baldwin's private rail car. She was
the daughter of California pioneer Lucky Baldwin.

Just inside the rear entrance of the car is a Wurlitzer Pianino which
plays 5-tune rolls. It has a walnut case, unlike the usual mahogany
case. It is placed close to the dining area so that it could be
used for dinner music. A short video of the car can be found at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiHWKzn390c The Pianino is shown at
time 0:36.
