Instrument Tuning Apps for Laptop Computers

Apple's GarageBand app, included with your new MacBook Air, has a tuner
built in.  There's a tubing fork icon in the control bar at the top next
to the LCD display.  Logic also has one, although it's almost the same
as GarageBand.

Of course if you're tuning a piano, you're gonna want more advanced
software like the Verituner iPhone app.
