Mills Violano Test Roll

Tim,  I don't own a Violano but I worked on one decades ago and knew
folks who have had them, so I think that test roll would be a great
candidate for replication!  Just a suggestion.

Violano rolls are sometimes, perhaps eventually always, "eaten" by the
player due to electrical arcing.  Hmm; I just thought, has anyone added
anti-flyback diodes to them to prevent or reduce the arcing, as is done
in pipe organs?
