How To Use AMI SYS7 MIDI Files
 By Ron Schmuck

 | Hello everyone, I am wondering if any one has used the AMI SYS7
MIDI files that Mike Ames created back in the 1990s? I purchased
his "Green Book" (as he referred to it) and now I would like to use
some of the files to play a 70-key Decap of Antwerpen dance organ
that I am restoring:

Mike created a "Decoder Ring" that facilitated the copying of books
for all of the many different size instruments -- from Bursens 68-key,
Decap 70- to -121 key, Mortier 80- to 115-key, etc. -- as well as
many other instruments.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has used the "Decoder Ring"
or MIDI note layout to be sure I am assuming what Mike did is what
I am hoping.
All the very best,

[ Bill Klinger will provide the Ron with the basic MIDI file player
