Status of Johnson Carousel Organs in Broome County
By Dave Bowers

[ Ref. Jim Leonard in 200812 MMDugest ]

The Harvey Roehl Wurlitzer 146A band organ was inactive in the park.
Harvey asked what they wanted for it and they said, "Twenty-five
dollars and you take it away!"

I have lots of memories about Harvey. I first met him when he was
laying out the pages for "Player Piano Treasury" on a light table
in his dining room. We became good friends. The rest is history.
