Source of Zephyr Skin For Pouches
By Robert Loeffler

[ Ref. Matthew Schultz in 210121 MMDigest ]

Hi All, in my opinion the best and only source for zephyr skin that
is from Laukhuff Organ Supply in Germany! That is where Organ Supply
acquires their stock from.

When ordering from Laukhuff I recommend ordering the Heavy Zephyr
(Darmleder) so that you are ensured it would be thick enough for
pouches. It is "hit and miss" ordering the medium material and
sometimes would be too thin. They do not currently take credit cards
over the phone; you must wire the funds.

Like I have most likely mentioned before, when you receive the zephyr
it cannot be cut into pouches in its current state -- you _must_
crumble it up several times, unfold it and repeat to make the zephyr
flexible. This is where when buying it from other companies the zephyr
will fail. If you are using it for small bellows like in clocks, you
would use it as it comes.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to give me a call.

Musically,
Robert Loeffler
