Central Park Carousel Reopens After a Long Wait
By Andrew Lardieri

In the midst of this awful pandemic (which hopefully will be a thing
long forgotten come 2022), the illustrious 1908 Stein and Goldstein
carousel located in New York's Central Park has finally reopened after
a long temporary closure.

However, in terms of us band organ peeps, the 33-key Ruth und Sohn
organ, which now plays Wurlitzer 150 arrangements via MIDI control,
with pipes exposed thanks to the cover unfortunately being removed
showing its guts, is in need of an overhaul.

Band organs need their privacy too, ya know!
