New Reproducing Rolls From Euterpe Rolls
By Niels Berkers

Happy New Year to all! Today a new initiative was launched to
produce new piano rolls. Initially only rolls for Welte-Mignon
T100 "Red" system are available. I've seen and heard their rolls
in action and they are of a very good quality.

The new company, founded by Marcel Veel and Koos van Kruistum in
the Netherlands, aims to supply high quality rolls for reproducing
pianos. Their plan is to later add reproducing rolls for other
systems, such as Welte T98 (Green), Licensee and Ampico A & B.
I personally hope for Triphonola and Phonoliszt rolls, too.

Initially recuts of originals are being made but they also plan to
issue newly recorded music and convert recordings from one reproducing
system to another. I'm very curious to see how that will work out,
but I'm confident it will be great. I'm looking forward to hearing
Rachmaninoff on the Triphonola.

The Welte T100 rolls can be ordered online as from today and more
available titles will be added each week in the upcoming weeks,
according to Marcel Veel. All titles on the website are immediately
available. I'm not involved in the roll business so please ask any
questions through Marcel and Koos' at their website at
https://www.euterperolls.com/home-en.html

Kind regards,
Niels Berkers
