New Wurlitzer 165 Rolls Released
By Glenn Thomas

This year we have released four terrific new Wurlitzer style 165 band
organ rolls. These rolls are arranged by Andy Park and Mikey Mills,
perforated by Play-Rite Music Rolls, Turlock, California, and are
available for immediate shipment.

Roll 6908 is our annual carousel roll, with a variety of familiar and
hit music specifically designed and requested for carousels and outdoor
band organ events. Many of the tunes will be familiar marches, popular
music, rags, and classical music that everyone will love. Even the
tunes you may not initially recognize will become instant favorites.

After several years work, Allen Velthoen of Modesto, California,
just completed a replica Wurlitzer 165 band organ, He was assisted
by John Malone and pipe building by Bruce Newman. This organ isn't
any ordinary replica, it's outstanding! In honor of its completion,
Allen and John had a celebratory roll, 6910, arranged and issued.
This roll had to be special to honor the completion of the organ.
You'll recognize most of these great tunes. Many arrangements have
a surprise bonus in the tune. Will you recognize the parody?

We continue to expect good selections from music expert and 165 band
organ fanatic Andrew Lardieri and he doesn't disappoint in roll 6909.
Each year they just get better. To keep you alert, Andy Park throws
in something unexpected in most tunes. Will you get it?

Mikey Mills has made a specialty of Wurlitzer's arranging period in
the late 1920s through the '30s, and has produced numerous Wurlitzer
Automatic Player Piano (APP) rolls of that period, and now a Wurlitzer
165 roll in 6911. He worked with John Malone to choose these great
tunes. And there are still more where these came from. You won't want
to miss this roll. Close your eyes and you will think it's the best
of Wurlitzer!

We also still have some copies of some previously released rolls
available.

Rolls are still $85 each as they have been for years. Special bonus:
Free shipping for three or more rolls, otherwise $5 each for shipping.
MIDI files available also. Inquire.

See the complete list of rolls, tunes, and sample recorded tunes from
each roll here: https://www.wurlitzer165.net/wurlitzer-165-rolls

These tunes will also be available for listening on
www.MechanicalMusicRadio.com beginning in June.
