FS: Welte Brisgovia Style A Orchestrion
By Mark Reinhart

For sale, _must sell ASAP_: a Welte Brisgovia style A orchestrion,
incomplete but I have critical parts. One of only seven known Brisgovia
orchestrions and only three style A Brisgovia orchestrions. The case is
complete.

Here is a chance for a classic cabinet orchestrion for a tiny fraction
of the price. It is missing the pump, roll frame and piano back. I know
of two Welte brand T-100 pianos that could serve as a source for the
piano which is what one of the other three style A Brisgovias used for
its piano back.

The player stack for the piano has octave coupling which is not found on
one of the three known style A's. This Brisgovia served as the pattern
source for the xylophone and piano stack for the style A whose piano
back was also missing.

I paid $12,000, will sell for best offer over $2,000. I need it moved
before September 1, 2022. The 18 Brisgovia rolls alone are worth the
asking price. There are period ragtime rolls included with this rare
orchestrion.

Located 70 miles (100 KM) west of Baltimore, Maryland, in Charles Town,
West Virginia. Contact Mark Reinhart for more information and pictures.
