"My Pal Jerry", QRS Mastertouch Roll D1692
By Mike Walter

[ Ref. Bruce Welch in 220811 MMD ]

"My Pal Jerry" was issued by QRS in September 1926 as roll number
3601, according to Billings Rollography. I would imagine that most
of J. Lawrence Cook's recordings sold fairly well.

Since it was also issued in Australia would indicate the song had a
fairly wide popularity, so I doubt that it would be considered "rare".
There are probably not as many copies of it around the world today
as, e.g., "Rubber Duckie", but that's what happens when 90 some years
pass by.

Best wishes,

Mike Walter
