FS: 1928 Mason & Hamlin RA in Southern California
By Roger Caruso

For sale: Mason & Hamlin Ampico reproducing grand piano, serial no.
38528 RA (5' 8.5"), scale A6. According to the shipping records the
piano left the M&H factory on May 17, 1928, with a Hepplewhite style
case.

Sometime in its past the distinctive Hepplewhite elements were removed
from the legs, which is why it now looks like Louis XVI style. But the
Hepplewhite music rack remains and remnants of the Hepplewhite leg
design can still be seen as 'bumps' on the top surface of the leg
stretchers. (I still have the castors for the piano.)

Approximately 1,000 Ampico rolls are available for the piano. Also for
sale is a 23-inch Kalliope disc music box and a National Automatic
8-roll Selecting Piano.

We will be downsizing in the next few months and it is time for our
wonderful instruments to find new homes. My access to email is limited
so please contact me via phone (below) if you are interested. Looking
forward to hearing from you,

Roger Caruso
