I was again made aware of Mechanical Music Digest's value to
the hobbyist when I had a problem with my Faventia street piano:
the shaft bearings on the barrel had seized up.

Looking through the MMD Archives, I found that Jim Quashnock
has had experience with such an instrument. He kindly offered
help and we soon fitted new bearings.

It's great that we can connect like this and keep the old
instruments playing. Thanks, Jim!
