Treating Brittle Music Roll Paper
By Ralph J Schultz

I have some old piano rolls that are getting stiff and hard,
mostly at the end of the music. This causes the music roll
to lift and play unwanted notes.

Is there anything that can be done to soften up the paper?
I don't think water or oil is the answer.

It would be nice to play them without interruption due to
lifting and causing the rewind mode.
