It's time for our End-Of-Summer Fundraising drive.

Contributions to the operation of the MMD are voluntary, but are needed
and are greatly appreciated.  If you haven't contributed to the operation
of the MMD in the last 12 months, this would be a great time to contribute.
If you received this message by email, instructions on how to contribute
are at the bottom of this Digest.  The same information is on the Info page
on the MMD website.  For your convenience, there's a PayPal "Donation" link
at the bottom of each page on the website.

Email delivery continues to be challenging.  You are encouraged to
reference the Archives of the MMD on the MMD Website.  You do not need
to be logged into the website to read the MMD Archives.

If you aren't receiving your MMD by mail, you haven't been cut off
because of not participating in the fundraising.  Rather, there's a
technical issue, so please let us know if you're not getting your MMD
by mail.  Our Internet Mailing Service continues to drop subscribers
due to, apparently, erroneous SPAM and non-delivery reports from users' ISPs.

We believe these bounces are bogus, but it's hard to figure out how to
make it reliable in the presence of so much SPAM from other sources.
Because of the mail problems, I've made a point of keeping the Archives
on the website up to date.
