We are currently restoring a unique Gavioli 26-notes reed organ with
a cylinder and celeste reeds on the melody. It bears the number 9504
and dates back to around 1904. This organ is quite special because
its windchest opens with hinges, providing easy access to the reeds.
We also have another similar 26-note reed organ, which has allowed us
to identify some missing parts for this one. Many of these parts are
very similar, or even identical, but reversed [mirrored].
We need to have several external parts of the organ remade, including
the crank handle, the knife lever used to select tunes, the keyboard
lifter, and more.
To accurately reproduce these parts without errors, we are looking for
one or more photos of the same model's side view that show the details
precisely -- especially the selector part, which can only be lifted if
the brass lever raising the keyboard is engaged.
