I am still playing around with my optical roll reader that gives
a MIDI signal output in real time. All the expression settings
and 'snake bite' accent holes of a Duo-Art roll are, or can be,
output as MIDI notes in addition to the playing notes.

I am not at all familiar with emulation software. Has there ever
been an emulation software program that could take this MIDI
output and convert it to audio signal in real time?

If it is at all possible, the results might be interesting.
