The first issue for 2026 of our Journal Magazine, called 'The Music
Box', has just been sent to the printers and will be sent out to MBSGB
members in a few weeks time. It will contain a feature article about
the Arthur Cunliffe Musical Box Register which has recently registered
the 15,000th Cylinder Musical Box; see https://mbsgb.org.uk/resources/

The register is an incredible useful research tool and we invite
readers to contact the society to register any cylinder musical box
(or indeed any disc musical box). As mentioned before, all information
is kept anonymously, no personal details are taken. It is interesting
now that after 50 years some boxes are coming up for sale that were
registered when they were last sold a very long time ago.

registering of boxes by non-members as well to increase the research
data.
