FS: Four New Rolls From Heisigrollen
By Wolfgang Heisig

For sale: I'd like to announce four new rolls for Phonola/Pianola,
Duo-Art and Ampico A that I've completed in recent weeks:

1. Friedrich Gulda: Prelude and Fugue (with a cadence by M.-A. Hamelin)
2. Jaroslav Jezek: Bugatti Step
3. Leroy Anderson: The Typewriter
4. Charles Chaplin: The Terry Theme (from Limelight)

Friedrich Gulda was an Austrian pianist equally at home in classical,
jazz and avant-garde music. His jazz study, "Prelude and Fugue",
is among his best-known piano compositions and can also be heard on
Marc-Andre Hamelin's CD, "In a State of Jazz" (Hyperion).

Jaroslav Jezek was a Czech composer of the early 20th century who
masterfully employed the jazz idiom in his compositions.

I hardly need to mention Leroy Anderson's "Typewriter" and Chaplin's
"Terry Theme". These two roll arrangements may already be available
elsewhere.

With best regards,
