Hello, I recently completed "The Catoons Roll", my first original
MIDI file Style 150 band organ music roll. It had its first release
yesterday at the Perkasie Carousel in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, playing
on its Stinson Style 31 band organ.
Just like "The Easter Roll" released late last year, a MIDI file copy
will be sent to the Dr. Floyd Moreland Carousel's Wurlitzer 146-A in
Seaside Heights, New Jersey. The roll's content itself mostly contains
intro songs for original cartoon ideas I have or in the works, except
for tune 1 which was made by Tom Iannucci as a gift to honor the now
defunct Gillian's Wonderland Pier called "Wonderland March".
Upon reading my previous article about "The Easter Roll" I wrote in
September [2025.09.07 MMD], Warren Scott reached out to me about
getting paper music rolls made from my MIDI files, as well as the
Style 150 MIDI files made by my good friend Tom Iannucci.
We have been working with Warren on perfecting the craft of making
Style 150 paper rolls. Our plan is have two copies made of each
completed roll: one copy to have at Perkasie Carousel, and the other
copy for the Wilhelm Bruder Soehne (WBS) Model 79 48-keyless organ
playing Style 150 rolls at the kiddie carousel at Knoebels Amusement
Resort in Elysburg, Pennsylvania.
We plan to deliver these rolls to Knoebels in person once a year
after these paper rolls get made, as well as sending SanDisk flash
drives with our MIDI file songs to Seaside Heights once a year, too.
Here is the playlist I made for "The Catoons Roll" playing on
Perkasie Carousel's Stinson 31 band organ:
