Hello,
My name is Steven Leithold and my family owns a family run music store
in La Crosse, Wisconsin founded in 1888. I have been a piano mover for
them for about 26 years and would really like to streamline our process
of moving grand pianos. There has to be something easier than picking up
a piano by hand.
I am wondering if there are plans to build a "horse tilter" like the one
on the MMDigest web site at:
https://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/Digests/202001/2020.01.30.03.html
I can't find any plans for making one or any info on who makes them. We
have a local fabricator, and I'm sure they could make it if I had some
plans to provide to help with measurements and such.
Thanks for any help with my search. I really like the idea of not having
to take the lyre unit off a piano before tilting it down onto a skid
board.
