Introduction
By Bruce Clark

Hello Hello! I am Bruce Clark of Interlaken New York, and have just
received your address. I know nothing about this service, and would like
to hear from those interested in Ampico Reproducing pianos.
I worked for many years restoring Ampicos and have more or less retired.
I was at the Ampico factory on several occasions and did a bit of
consultations on pianos when someone would write in inquiring about repairs
and restorations. When they found out it could not be done for 50 dollars,
very few were interested. Hope to hear from those enthusiasts soon.
I might add that I am on fidonet, which is not too swift, and
according to some who have sent me messages, some have been lost. But PLEASE
keep trying. I live out in the middle of no-where, and would like to share
knowledge before time erases that knowledge. I am willing to assist anyone
with bits of information on rebuilding the AMPICO. Most of my work was done
on the model A and what work I did on the model B's is fading in my memory.
bye for now!
