Maple Leaf Rag in Postscript Available
By G. L. Sicherman

Jody,

Here's a little more about copyrights that you may wish to consider
adding to your very much appreciated daily digest. The only reason
I'm offering this is this fellow's offer. Might be of interest.

Regards,

Maybe an exponentially declining schedule of royalties is in order?
Indeed, very old copyrighted software deserves penalties rather than
royalties, just for squatting in the path of progress....

Anyway, you can still act now before the copyright of the Maple Leaf
Rag is restored. Write me at gls@hrcms.att.com for a free PostScript
version. I've preserved the backward note clusters and most other
peculiarities of the original. I'll hack up a modern edition if
there's any demand for it ... maybe spread out over 4 pages instead of
being squeezed onto 3.

And thanks to Daniel Taupin for inventing MusicTeX!
