There isn't a day goes by that we don't learn something new ! Regretfully,
before your note, I had never heard of the Gavioli "Harmoniflute". It sounds
very interesting though. Some of the German organs featured a rank called a
"doppleflote" which means double flute. These were wooden with two pipes
built into one, arranged back to back. Normally these were tuned in unison or
sometimes slightly celeste and played simultaneously.

Multiple reeds in a single pipe resonator are new to me, however. I assume
that there must be separate boots or wind entry points for each of the reeds
? and that these are metal pipes ? Sorry I can't be of more help with this
one.
